LWML Atlantic District
Fall Retreat

Join us!
The Lutheran Women in Mission of the Atlantic District warmly invites you to join fellow women from the LCMS Atlantic District for a weekend of worship, service, singing, and crafting.
The Lutheran Women in Mission of the Atlantic District gathers together at Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania to proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.
During our time together we have opportunities of fellowship, worship, and sharing how our God given talents are valued and needed for the extension of His kingdom.

Meet our Retreat Leader!
Ginny Wirsing
Ginny is a long-time member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Middle Island and was installed in 2024 as an LCMS Atlantic District Lay Deacon, after two years of coursework and many service hours. As a Lay Deacon, she is involved with visiting the hospital and homebound members, leading Bible studies, assisting her pastor where necessary and praying with patrons who come to the Food Pantry.
She started a Christ centered grief support group known as Grief Share at her church. After losing her husband 4 years ago, she felt the call to offer this ministry to community members who have lost a loved one. Ginny has been involved in LWML Atlantic District for over 20 years, serving as Secretary and then President of the Suffolk Zone. She also served on the LWML Atlantic District Board of Directors as Vice President for Mission Outreach, Financial Secretary and then Treasurer. She is a mom of two adult married children and grandmother to three grandchildren. She thanks God for His gift of her children and the joy of grandchildren.
Ginny states that “Jesus has been with me through the dark times and the wonderful times and I thank Him for being by my side, whether I knew it or not.” Her favorite verse is “…And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20.
